One year for Christmas, Maki Kusano of 3 Pumpkin Designs, decided it would be nice to make and give handmade gifts. She created some jewelry and as friends and relatives raved about her designs, a new venture was born. 3 Pumpkin Designs is named after her 3 children who are her constant source of love, inspiration and motivation. Each piece is lovingly handcrafted and she uses only the finest materials in all of her designs. While on a summer vacation a few years ago, Kellie was introduced to the ‘Art of Jewelry’ design by a friend. Munkee Jewelry
Munkee Jewelry is the creation of Sarah Zahran, a self-taught jewelry designer from Windsor, Ontario. After completing her Master’s in Sociology in 2004, she attempted to take her passion for making jewelry and turn it into a career.
Sarah finds her inspiration in the materials she uses. She is especially passionate about Venetian and Murano glass beads, which can be found in many of her creations. Also, she often has design ideas pop into her head while she is watching tv or day-dreaming.

Shannon Hazell
Shannon Hazell is a jewelry designer from Toronto. She graduated from the University of Victoria with a BFA honours in sculpture in 1998. Her business began in Vancouver in 2000 and then moved to Toronto in 2003.
Various designs have been purchased by the likes of Shalom Harlow, Leanne Rhimes, Parker Posie and Kim Catrall. Shannon Hazell has been published in: The Province, Vancouver Sun, Where Vancouver, Razor Magazine, Flare, Fashion Magazine (both Vancouver and Toronto), Chatelaine, Canadian Living, The Globe and Mail, Toronto Star and Leisure Magazine. In 2005, both Fashion and Flare magazines labeled her one of Canada's top fashion designers. Currently she is also designing a line for Roots, which will soon be available in various Roots stores in the United States and Canada.
